Hoy hablaremos de uno de las mejores creaciones de Sony: Playstation Portable.
La PlayStation Portable o PSP (significado en español: Estación de Juego Portátil) es una videoconsola portátil de la compañía japonesa Sony Computer Entertainment. Tercera consola de la línea PlayStation y primera incursión (siendo la primera, vaya que tuvo buen aceptamiento entre los gamers) de Sony en el mercado de las portátiles, fue presentada oficialmente en la Electronic Entertainment Expo el 13 de mayo de 2003.

Alguna de sus especificaciones son:

Unidad de Procesamiento Central: Custom CPU multipropósito Sony “Allegrex” basado en MIPS de velocidad configurable en 1/333 MHz, incluye un CPU basado en MIPS32 Rk-4 de 32 bits, un FPU (Unidad de Coma Flotante) y un VFPU de cálculo vectorial También incluye un procesador conocido como “Media Engine”; siendo también un CPU basado en MIPS32 Rk-4 de 32 bits dedicado al manejo de audio/video por hardware y un DSP (Procesador digital de señal) programable “Virtual Mobile Engine”. El “Media Engine” tiene funcionalidades similares al CPU principal y sirve como equivalente ante la falta de VPU.

Memoria: 32 MB RAM de memoria principal (64 MiB en PSP Slim & Lite) y 4 MiB DRAM embedida; los 4 MiB corresponden a 2 MiB para el chip gráfico y a 2 MiB del “Media Engine”, ambos CPUs contienen 16KB de caché de instrucciones y caché de datos y 16KB de scratchpad, además de 32 MiB de memoria Flash NAND (usada para guardar configuraciones y archivos del sistema).

Chip gráfico: Custom GPU de velocidad configurable en 1/166 MHz con 2 MiB de memoria interna e interfaz de 512 bits soportando renderizado de polígonos y NURBS, iluminación direccional por hardware, environment projection y texture mapping, compresión de texturas y mosaicos, niebla, alpha blending, depth and stencil test, vertex blending para efectos de morphing y dithering; todo en 16 o 24 bits de profundidad de color. El Chip gráfico también maneja la salida de vídeo. El sistema es capaz de mover unos 33 millones de polígonos iluminados y tratados, con un ratio de 664 millones de pixeles por segundo.

Chip de Sonido: Custom DSP configurable Sony “Virtual Mobile Engine” Sonido 3D, Multi-Canal 7.1ch.

Pantalla: 4,3 pulgadas, 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD 480 x 272 pixels (16.77 millones de colores) – Una gran pantalla, por cierto.

Códecs: ATRAC3 plus, AAC, MP3, WMA, AVC/@MP for Picture / Movi, H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10). Soporte de imágenes en formato JPEG, GIF, TIFF, BMP y PNG.

Media: Lectura de datos desde sistema de discos ópticos UMD (Universal Media Disk) y Memory Stick PRO DUO, conexión y manejo remoto del sistema PlayStation 3. (Salida de TV en PSP Slim & Lite)

WIFI: Wi-Fi IEE 802.11b permite conexión Ad-HOC e Infraestructura con otras PSP y con Internet con jugabilidad para 2/16 jugadores simultáneamente. El software de sistema incluye un Navegador Web basado en Access NetFront.

Gamesharing: Algunos títulos del sistema PSP soportan la transferencia de juego en modo multijugador con otras consolas que no cuenten con el juego en cuestión, esto se logra enviando los datos a través de conexión Ad-Hoc y cargándolos sobre la memoria RAM. El soporte de esta opción está limitado a los juegos que hacen uso de ella.

Accesorios: Cámara de video de 1.3 megapíxeles “Chotto Shot”, receptor de señal GPS, receptor de TV digital y PSP Headset (incluido con ciertos títulos)

Interfaz: XMB “XrossMediaBar” desarrollada por Sony y presente en sus nuevos televisores así como en el sistema PlayStation 3.

Medidas: 190 mm de anchura (110 de pantalla TFT) y 74 mm de altura.

Peso: 260 g sin incluir batería (330 gramos con batería).

Diseño: Shin’ichi Ogasawara (小笠原伸一) para Sony Computer Entertainment (subsidiaria de Sony Corporation)

Como ven, la PSP es una Masterpiece, sin embargo la única persona que logro modificar la PSP de tal manera que salvemos mucho dinero en juegos fue Dark_Alex, el famosísimo (y no tan famoso) por sus movimientos ‘hackers’ para crear los llamados Custom Firmwares. Con éstos, podemos desde controlar los canales y opciones de un TV (usando los infrerojos) hasta jugar el último juego salido del mercado con tan solo buscarlo y descargarlo por la web.

Dark Alex (también conocido como Dark_AleX, DAX) es el seudónimo de un programador y hacker español. Su nombre real es Alejandro. Programó versiones especiales del software interno de la videoconsola portátil PlayStation Portable, llamados comúnmente firmwares personalizados («custom firmwares») que combinan las nuevas características que Sony incorpora en sus firmwares oficiales con otros aplicaciones que permiten ejecutar programas no oficiales («Homebrew»). Además también realizó desarrollos que permiten regresar a versiones anteriores del firmware («downgraders») y reparar el software de consolas bloqueadas (principalmente la batería Pandora que se explica más adelante). Abandonó sus actividades relacionadas con la PSP en julio de 2007, entre otras cosas por las amenazas vertidas por Sony hacia los hackers de la PS3.

Well, what i can say… it been a while, isn’t? Well, im going to try resuming what happened since the last post lol.
Let me see… I came to my uncle’s house 1 week before to start my college season. I bring almost everything along with me here. (Most important was, obviously, my HP Notebook :] ).
That week i’ve been here i was kind of bored cause there wasn’t too much to do. But the first day i went to buy my LCD monitor 19” for only 200$ and damn, its work as a Standart TV, so i’m able to play my PS2. Really neat, huh?
I finished playing Final Fantasy X and Chaos Legion in less than a Month… Anyways..

My classes started two days ago, normally… bored and… sooo monotonous ~___~
Oh, im a Twitter User– but too bad, i don’t like it too much. It’s has a bad argument of what it want to be. Needs more improvement, totally a mess. i think everyone there, who’s not famous, is so lonely to talk himself via Twitter… That’s just sad. Sorry, TwitterFans.

What else more… Haven’t played tennis yet and still without cash for a new raquet (Actually i have, but i’d buy it if i’ll practice more often.)
Haven’t draw for a long while :/ Been trying to play PSX game son my PSP (I want to play Bust a Groove!!)
Meet some nice couple girls and i need to get my body a little more pimped o_O lmao.

Basta de ingles, me cansé de tanto de pensar. Those who want to read it in english, go to translate.google to translate everything.
Bueno, no tengo mucho que decir. He estado ausente por 3 o tal vez 4 dias, sin haber escrito nada aquí.
Veámos… No recuerdo mucho el Viernes mas que me dijeron que mi prima iba a venir a Barranca (lugar donde crecí y donde estoy de vacaciones actualmente). Fue una gran sorpresa. Habrá unos 5 o mas años que no venia a visitarnos.
En fin, el sabado llegó ella… y con una amiga. Apenas llego, nos fuimos a la playa. Les dije que sí, iria a acompañarlas un rato… Pero eso no pasó, habia tanto calor que cuando llegamos y nos quedamos un rato, les dije que volveria pronto, ya que me iba a cambiarme para veranear tambien! En fin, nos quedamos hasta un par de horas y algo mas… Obviamente que al dirigirme a mi casa, me lleve consigo una buena bronceada y algunas que otras quemadas en mi cuerpo. Realmente hubo un sol muy radiante. En la noche nos vimos ver peliculas para terminar el dia e irnos a dormir.

El dia siguiente tambien fue atroz, por darle algun adjetivo. Me fui a pescar con mi papa y unos amigos de él. Fue muy divertido, lo único malo es que no pescamos mucho como en otros dias. Cuando llegué a la casa, mi prima ya se habia ido. El día termino sin más cosas interesantes.

Hoy, un amigo se quedo a dormir para jugar DotA.

No tengo mucho mas por contar porque ando muy cansado. Ah!, me compre una bicicleta y estoy leyendo Crepúsculo (Twilight)

~Today, i woke up kinda late (9 am something) and then i went to make some excersise… puff, puff hard work i made there XD. Anyways, in teh afternoon, i was kinda bored so i came here to my lap to search some information about Masturbation. Well, and who don’t ever masturbate in his live? (me… joke, obviusly).

Marriage?

Well, i was watching tv, watching MTV, watching a video-clip of Kate Perry “Hot n’ Cold”.
Then couple hours later, after dinner i was changing of channel and saw that tv serie called ‘Smallville’…
Yeah, u might ask: “So, what’s the f*cking deal with each other?” well, both of them were talking about marriage, especially Smallvile, the chapter where Lex prompted marriage to. .. Lena? I do not remember her name.
Anyway, the fact was Lex was very worry and stressed about her answer (after proposing marriage to her) was in vain cause it ended with a classical.. no, sorry (i think thats cool for the followers of the serie)

I was thinking that if we, the men propose marriage, and girls, some of they are kinda slow to give us an answer (between that time, the anguish is strong)… why not, can girls propose marrige to us? yeah, probably the answer could be 50% more fast and sure than others girls doubt… but not at all… sometimes, some guys dont like to be with that girl cause he don’t like her, but instead, the girl likes much a lot of him. And sometime we don’t like to hurt her feelings, but how about if they feel the no, sorry at the time that we propose the marriage?

I mean, its hard to say a “no, sorry”. It’s not like if i had this experience… but i was thinking deep about it, i was.. duh!

Or in a easy example (It occurred to me right now) when some girls reject you when you want to date her out… that might hurt…, but i haven’t feel that (but i rejected to someone, long story…).
That remind me Mangas, Anime or Japanese Drama (J-drama), those girls are more harsh to confess her love to boys than other girls (like i.e. in United States? lolz) with, obviously, a little shame.

God dammit, i almos passed out today cause the freaking sun…
Well, anyways i made it alive.. OOHH YEAH.
I didn’t do too muh today.. uhm. I had a lot of work + strong sun= Mirosuke’s Fried.
In DJ MAX i have been playing some Extreme Challenges to unlock new Chars, Gears and Notes to best perfomance… also to get more songs.
Something about me is… i don’t like the heat? xD i preffer COLDDD, ICEEE.. BRRBR MUAHAHAHA.

ugh, and uhm i stoped to play SRO almost 1 month … just taking a break.. i hope my account is still ‘alive’ >_>
Between last week and this i’ve downloaded almost 5gb in PSP games hoho. lol yeha, i got nothing much to do =(

Well, im here right now sitting on my softy chair ready to post this thing… but then i suddenly saw my psp and i turn it on to play DJ MAX Portable 2.

Ouh yeah, im a big fan of this game. If you like Music Games, you-ll totally agreed with me.
Basically this is a Music game, that consist in DJs doing sounds to make an entire song.
It was Only for PC, but then they relased out with a PSP version. Very addicting, this game can be played in 3 differents languages (Korean, English and… Japanese ithink) and a lot of modes wich includes: 4B, 5B, 6B, 8B etc.
Great Anime Styling and Songs makes you fall in love with it…

Got nothing more to say than im tired, listening music and chillin’ around..

Uhm, well… what can i say?
